Taulant Ragip Xhaka (born 28 March 1991) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Swiss club Basel and the Albania national team. During the beginning of his career he played as a Right back but following his return to the Basel team after his loan to Grasshopper Club he was moved to his current position defensive midfielder which he played at Albania national team since his debut in 2014 and since the start of the 2016–17 season with Basel.
