Max-Joseph Schmitt (born 18 January 2006) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for 3. Liga club SSV Ulm, on loan from Bayern Munich. Schmitt grew up in Milbertshofen-Am Hart, Germany. Schmitt represented Germany internationally at youth level. He helped the Germany national under-17 football team win the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
